 Hey there! It’s Dr. Shona McKenzie and today I want to share a game-changer for my practice: an efficient and personalized texting program. I've been in practice for 25 years, and I'm always on the lookout for anything that can make my job easier and more enjoyable, helping me avoid the burnout from administrative tasks. Effective Patient Recall 💜 One of my favorite uses of the texting program is for patient recall. If patients haven't visited for a while, I can send a mass text, prompting them to schedule an appointment, continue their break, or request no further contact. Automated responses handle each scenario, freeing up mental space and preserving energy. Even if a patient opts out, they may return later, knowing they can reach out whenever needed. Day-to-Day Patient Interactions 💜 This system also helps with day-to-day patient follow-ups. Whether notifying the entire patient group about office closures or sending individual check-ins, the texting program maintains a personal touch while increasing efficiency.
