Hey there! It’s Dr. Shona McKenzie and today I want to share a game-changer for my practice: an efficient and personalized texting program. I've been in practice for 25 years, and I'm always on the lookout for anything that can make my job easier and more enjoyable, helping me avoid the burnout from administrative tasks. This was my situation before I discovered Dr. Jodi's program.
Initially, I signed up for a different texting program after hearing about its potential to improve practice efficiency through automation. However, despite its success in other practices, it didn’t suit my small, boutique practice. The automation felt insincere, leading to a negative interaction with one of my patients. Then, I finally got on board here at Staffless Practice. Here's how it transformed my practice: Improved Work-Life Balance 💜 Before, patients would text me on my personal cell phone, which blurred the lines between my home and work life. With the new system, I can keep these aspects separate, avoiding late-night or early-morning messages that disrupt personal time. Enhanced Efficiency 💜 A good texting program allows you to communicate with your entire patient base, a segment, or just one individual while being HIPAA compliant. Although I don’t recommend sending personal information via text, this system streamlines daily communications. For example, I can quickly send a new patient a friendly follow-up message without the dread of making a phone call. Effective Patient Recall 💜 One of my favorite uses of the texting program is for patient recall. If patients haven't visited for a while, I can send a mass text, prompting them to schedule an appointment, continue their break, or request no further contact. Automated responses handle each scenario, freeing up mental space and preserving energy. Even if a patient opts out, they may return later, knowing they can reach out whenever needed. Day-to-Day Patient Interactions 💜 This system also helps with day-to-day patient follow-ups. Whether notifying the entire patient group about office closures or sending individual check-ins, the texting program maintains a personal touch while increasing efficiency.
