Hello friends! I know I say it all the time: There's nothing better than a good checklist. However, there's a key to it. And I'm learning this more and more the busier I get, the deeper this lesson goes. ⭐️ We can have all the right checklists and all the right words in front of us, but unless we look at them and have some kind of a system to hold ourselves accountable, the checklist is going to be no good. I've spent so much time organizing and reorganizing and reorganizing, especially these days serving the Staffless Practice Community The only way that I feel super organized and connected to what I need to do is to make a point of printing out my checklist first thing Monday morning to tell me what I need to do each day. I would love to say that I'm able to remember all of it without doing this task, but usually, this isn't the case. There's too much happening too often. I love all of the things that I have going on but the only way I'm going to succeed with them is by having a great checklist. 💗 Checklists at the office are imperative. 💗 A checklist for shopping, a checklist for finances, a checklist for new patients, a checklist for marketing, there's not one that is any less important than the others. One of the first things that I'm asked by all of our new clients in the Staffless Practice Academy is "How are you keeping yourself organized?" I would say half of the people appreciate a good checklist and the other half need everything to be electronic. Please understand when I talk checklists, I'm talking pen to paper. I'm not talking about some note that gets lost in your phone somewhere. I'm talking about a printout with a very happy set of pens and completion by the end of the week. I also love to see this system implemented when team members get involved. What are their daily, weekly, and monthly tasks? Who is ensuring that all of these things get done? I promise you if you follow my lead with simple things like how to stay organized with a great checklist, you're going to go far. 💜 The trick is to follow one foot in front of the other. I will take you there just grab my hand. Let me lead you to a practice that is not only sustainable and joy-filled but also ridiculously organized! 🫶 Love love, Dr. Jodi In this week's Livestream I covered everything you need to know about CHECKLISTS!
